Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S4's overall score of 79. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is notably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S4, it's a little bit thinner and also much newer. These devices use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has newer 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4.

The Galaxy S4 has a little bit better performance than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU and a larger number of cores. Galaxy Note 5 has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a better 2560 x 1440 resolution, a little bit better pixels count per screen inch and a bit larger screen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S4, because it has a larger aperture, a more mega-pixels camera in the back, a way better (4K) video resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality. Galaxy S4 features a superior memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S4 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB.

Galaxy Note 5 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S4. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S4, letting go some specifications.
