Galaxy Note 5's body is newer and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport's, although it is also a little heavier.

The Galaxy Note 5 features just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a just a bit better pixels density, a little bit larger display and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a faster CPU than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and an additional GPU.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a camera with a 16 mega-pixels, a 0.38 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has a larger aperture.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S5 Sport. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Galaxy S5 Sport, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
