Comparison review

Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 overall score. Galaxy S6 Edge is a a little thinner and noticeably lighter cellphone than Galaxy Note 5, even though both were released with only a few months difference. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit, an extra graphics processor and 7 more 2100 megahertz processing cores. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little higher pixels count in each inch of display.

Galaxy Note 5 takes better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Both have the same video frame rates, a 16 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, the same sensor size, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same diafragm aperture. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 128 GB internal memory.

Galaxy Note 5 counts with just a little better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note 5. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
