Comparison review

Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's general score of 78.1. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy Note 5's design has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, but it's just a little heavier.

The Galaxy S7 edge features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S7 edge also has a greater number of cores (and they are faster). The Galaxy Note 5 features a slightly better display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a just a little lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a little bigger display.

The Galaxy S7 edge features more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 200 GB. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features improved battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 3600mAh battery size against 3000mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor giving a lower image quality and a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a back camera with way more MP.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 5, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, resigning a couple features and specifications.
