Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's general score of 78.1. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor giving a lower image quality and a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a back camera with way more MP.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 5, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, resigning a couple features and specifications.
