Comparison review

The Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 5's overall score of 79.3. The Xperia 1 is a way newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, although it is just a little thicker and a little heavier. Sony Xperia 1 features a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores.

Xperia 1 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a little larger screen, a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1644 x 3840px. Xperia 1 features much more memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB.

The Xperia 1 counts with a little longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 3330mAh battery size. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 captures clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size and the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a camera with a much higher 16 MP resolution and faster video frame rate.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 5. If you want to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
