Comparison review

The Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is much better than the Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 overall score. Although the Xperia 1 II is extremely newer than the Galaxy Note 5, it is a little thicker and a little bit heavier. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Xperia 1 II has the newer 11 version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1, so it provides you lots of additional features and performance optimizations.

Xperia 1 II counts with a better processor than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and also faster). The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a slightly better looking display than Sony Xperia 1 II, although it has a lot worse 2560 x 1440px resolution, a quite smaller display and a little worse amount of pixels per inch in the screen.

Xperia 1 II has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 192 GB more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1000 GB. Sony Xperia 1 II captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lot worse resolution back camera, it also counts with a much bigger sensor providing a way better image quality and a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light situations.

The Xperia 1 II counts with longer battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
