Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 5 is just a bit better than the Xperia Z3, getting a 79.3 score against 77.3. Galaxy Note 5 is a newer and thinner cellphone than the Xperia Z3, although it is a bit heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 5 has a newer 5.1 version while Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4, so it provides you a couple additional features.

Xperia Z3 has a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with 3 more cpu cores and an extra graphics processing unit. Sony Xperia Z3 has a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a just a little worse pixel quantity per screen inch and a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px.

The Xperia Z3 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a camera with a way better 20.7 MP resolution and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.

Xperia Z3 features just a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 7 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Z3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Sony Xperia Z3, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
