Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 5 has a global score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z4v's general score of 78.8. The Galaxy Note 5 body is just a bit heavier but somewhat thinner than Sony Xperia Z4v, and they were released only 2 months apart. Both phones in this comparison have the same Android 5.1 OS (operating system), so they should offer all the same OS features.

Xperia Z4v features a better performing processor than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor and more CPU cores (although slower). Xperia Z4v features a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.

The Xperia Z4v takes clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a larger sensor taking higher quality photos and videos and a lot higher 20.7 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.

The Xperia Z4v features just a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB. The Sony Xperia Z4v and Galaxy Note 5 count with really similar batteries performance.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Sony Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Sony Xperia Z4v. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Sony Xperia Z4v, giving up a couple features and specs.
