Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 overall score. Both devices we compare here come with the same Android 5.1 OS, so they should count with very similar OS features. Even though the Xperia Z5 Premium is a better phone than the Galaxy Note 5, we must tell that it's also a little thicker and just a little bit heavier.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and a lot greater amount of pixels per display inch. Xperia Z5 Premium has a better performance than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores (although slower) and an extra GPU.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 200 GB. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger camera aperture for better low-light images and videos, a larger sensor taking better quality videos and pictures and a much better 23 megapixels resolution camera.

The Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note 5. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, giving up some features and specifications.
