The Xiaomi Mi 10T has a global score of 87.9, which is much better than the Galaxy Note 5's overall score of 79.3. Even though Xiaomi Mi 10T is much newer than the Galaxy Note 5, it's noticeably heavier and thicker. These phones include Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 10T has a newer 10 version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1, so it provides you some nice extra features.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 10T, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity per screen inch and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
