Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, with an 83.3 score against 79.3. The Xiaomi Mi 8 body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but it is a little heavier. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version, so it gives you some nice extra features.
