Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, with a score of 81.2 against 79.3. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 construction has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but it is just a little bit heavier. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores.
Galaxy Note 5 counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality, a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels and a bigger aperture.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, because it has more internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 3400mAh battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, letting go a couple features and specifications.
