Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a global score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco M3's global score of 78.2. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is an a lot older cellphone than the Xiaomi Poco M3, but Samsung managed to make it lighter and noticeably thinner anyway.

Galaxy Note 5 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and more pixels per display inch. Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.

The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has 7 more processing cores (although slower). The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Xiaomi Poco M3 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a much higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality videos and pictures and a larger aperture.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Poco M3, letting go a couple specs and features.
