Comparison review
Galaxy Note 5 has a general score of 79.3, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10's 78.3 overall score. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 5 has the older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has Android 11 version. Galaxy Note 5's body is just a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, despite of the fact that it was released 6 years before.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per screen inch and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 counts with much more storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 also has a higher number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 features a much better battery performance than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
Galaxy Note 5 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, although it has a way tinier camera sensor offering a much lower image quality, a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for taking images or video in low-light situations and a way lower resolution camera.
Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
