Comparison review
Galaxy Note 5 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, having a global score of 79.3 against 78.2. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 5 has 5.1 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S has Android 11. The Galaxy Note 5 body is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, although it was released 6 years before.
The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity in each inch of display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S has as much memory for games and applications as the Galaxy Note 5 one, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has more RAM memory and more processing cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light photos and video and a much worse resolution back camera.
Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, else you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, giving up a couple features and specs.
