Galaxy Note 5 has an overall score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's global score of 77.2. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The Galaxy Note 5 is an incredibly older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, but it is a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner anyway.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and more cores. The Galaxy Note 5 features a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch of display and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing less light and washed colors, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has improved battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
