Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note 5, getting an 81.1 score against 79.3. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a more recent 10 version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a lot newer than the Galaxy Note 5, it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 2 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a F1.9 aperture, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a lot more mega-pixels camera and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photos and videos.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a way better battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 67 percent more battery size.
In addition to being the best phone in our current comparison, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is also by far the cheapest one.
