Samsung Galaxy S6 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, having a overall score of 87.3 against 81.7. Both phones in this review have the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide the same OS features. Samsung Galaxy S6 is a thinner and lighter phone than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, even though they were released with only a few months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a bit higher display density. The Galaxy S6 has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy S6 also has a 64 bits CPU, a greater number of cores (although they are slower) and a better GPU running at 650 MHz.
Samsung Galaxy S6 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same video quality, the same resolution back camera, a 0.38 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and video in poorly lited situations.
The Galaxy S6 features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Note Edge features just a bit better battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2550mAh.
