The LG G8 ThinQ has an overall score of 84.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note Edge's 81.7 global score. Both of these phones include Android OS, but LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version. LG G8 ThinQ's construction has the same thickness than the Galaxy Note Edge, but it is a bit lighter.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a slightly better display than LG G8 ThinQ, although it has a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, a quite smaller display and a little worse pixels density. LG G8 ThinQ features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more cpu cores and 3 GB more RAM memory. The LG G8 ThinQ features just a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.

The LG G8 ThinQ captures slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a camera with way less mega-pixels, and they both have the same sensor size, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a lot bigger diafragm aperture.

Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the LG G8 ThinQ is also the cheapest, making this phone an easy choice.
