Comparison review
Galaxy S6 has a score of 87.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Note Edge's general score of 81.7. These phones include the same Android 5.0 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. The Galaxy S6 is a thinner and much lighter phone than Galaxy Note Edge, even though both were released with only 7 months difference.
Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a 64 bits processor, a better graphics co-processor working at 650 megahertz and more cpu cores. The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a little better count of pixels per inch of display.
