Comparison review
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10, getting an 80.4 score against 78.9. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition design is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than Huawei Mate 10, even though both were released only 4 months apart. The Huawei Mate 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition both count with really similar processors, they have a 4 GB RAM and 8 CPU cores.
The Huawei Mate 10 has a slightly better display than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a just a bit worse count of pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same exact 1440 x 2560 resolution, the Huawei Mate 10 also counts with a little bit larger screen. The Huawei Mate 10 has as much memory for apps and games as the Galaxy Note Fan Edition one, both have equal 64 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 256 GB.
Huawei Mate 10 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier sensor shooting worse quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, a camera in the back with a 12 megapixels resolution and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 10 also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in poorly lited situations.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with superior battery duration than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 10, resigning a couple specifications.
