Comparison review

The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has an overall score of 80.4, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 20's 79.5 overall score. Although the Galaxy Note Fan Edition is older than the Huawei Mate 20, it's body is lighter and just a bit thinner. Huawei Mate 20 has a little more vivid display than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 and way lesser pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bit larger display.

The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU. Huawei Mate 20 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video, and they both have a 12 mega pixels resolution back camera, the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a bigger camera sensor.

Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 features longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 25 percent larger battery size.

Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is more expensive than the Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei Mate 20. If you want to save some money, you can get Huawei Mate 20, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
