The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface Duo, with a score of 80.4 against 78.8. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is way older and incredibly thicker than Microsoft Surface Duo, it's construction is still lighter. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a little bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit lower 1440 x 2560 resolution, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch.

Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a slightly better memory to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has 2 GB more RAM.

The Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 12% bigger battery capacity. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images in poorly lited situations and a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.

So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Note Fan Edition, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface Duo, resigning some features and specifications.
