The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a bit better than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, getting a general score of 80.4 against 76.3. Galaxy Note Fan Edition's design is older, thicker and a little bit heavier than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play. Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a bit more vivid display than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better screen pixels density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Motorola Moto Z3 Play has much more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note Fan Edition has just a little better processing power than Moto Z3 Play. Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a bit better battery duration than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 7% bigger battery size. Moto Z3 Play takes a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a tinier camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video quality, a same resolution back facing camera and a same size aperture.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition costs more money than the Moto Z3 Play, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
