Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a global score of 81.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy Note Fan Edition's overall score of 80.4. Even though the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and the Galaxy Note Fan Edition were released with only 3 months difference, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 body is just a bit thinner but a bit heavier than the Galaxy Note Fan Edition.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch of screen.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Galaxy Note Fan Edition both feature extremely similar cameras, and although the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for taking pictures and video in poorly lited situations and a smaller back camera sensor, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a 12 megapixels camera in the back and the same video frame rate.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 6 percent larger battery capacity.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a little more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
