Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, with a score of 80.4 against 79. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is an much older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but it's thinner and incredibly lighter anyway. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's processing unit is very similar to the processing unit in Galaxy Note Fan Edition, they have 8 processing cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen pixel density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures way better videos and photos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a camera with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution and a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has slightly more storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 3200mAh.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
