Comparison review

Galaxy S4 is a little bit better than Galaxy Note II, getting a 76.1 score against 71.9. The Galaxy S4 design is somewhat thinner and extremely lighter than the Galaxy Note II, even when both of them were released with only 7 months difference. These phones use the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.

Galaxy Note II features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note II also has a better 1.06 gigahertz graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a brighter display than Galaxy Note II, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot higher 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S4 count with quite similar memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, they have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 64 GB. Galaxy Note II has improved battery life than Galaxy S4, because it has a 19% bigger battery size.
