The Sony Xperia Z3 has a global score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note II's 71.9 score. The Sony Xperia Z3 body is newer, somewhat lighter and a lot thinner than Galaxy Note II. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia Z3 has a more recent 4.4.4 version and Galaxy Note II has Android 4.1 version.

Xperia Z3 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because although it has a weaker graphics processor working at 450 MHz, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xperia Z3 has a much sharper display than Galaxy Note II, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of screen and a lot better 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The Sony Xperia Z3 counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia Z3 also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Sony Xperia Z3's battery duration is very similar to Galaxy Note II's battery performance.

Xperia Z3 takes way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note II, because it has a lot higher video definition and a way better 20.7 MP resolution camera in the back.
