Galaxy Note10 has a score of 89, which is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's score of 77.5. The Galaxy Note10 is a newer and incredibly lighter device than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it's just a bit thicker. The Galaxy Note10 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Note10 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

Galaxy Note10 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel count in each inch in the display and a slightly higher 1080 x 2280 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note10 counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Note10 features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a same resolution camera and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Note10 also has better video frame rates, a lot bigger camera aperture and a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note10, because it has a 51% bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy Note10 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Note10, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, letting go a couple specifications.
