The Galaxy Note3 has a global score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than LG G5's 76.1 score. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note3 has 4.4.2 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even being the best device in our current comparison, we must note that it is also a much older, a bit heavier and thicker device.
The LG G5 has a processing unit that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note3 one, and although the LG G5 has 1 GB more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The LG G5 has a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a better pixels count per screen inch.
The LG G5 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG G5 also has a larger diafragm aperture, a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a better 16 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
LG G5 counts with much more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note3, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Note3 has a little better battery life than LG G5, because it has a 14 percent larger battery capacity.
