Samsung Galaxy Note3 is slightly better than Motorola Edge 40, having a overall score of 77.7 against 77.2. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Samsung Galaxy Note3's body is a lot older, a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier than Motorola Edge 40. These phones include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note3 has newer 4.4.2 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.
Galaxy Note3 has a way better performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and lesser RAM memory. The Motorola Edge 40 features a much better screen than Galaxy Note3, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a little bigger screen and a bit higher screen pixel density.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a lot larger camera aperture to take better photography and videos in low-light environments, a much bigger sensor which provides a way higher photo and video quality and a camera with a lot better resolution.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a slightly bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Note3, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
