Galaxy Note3 has a general score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy J7 Max's score of 76.1. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note3 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat. Galaxy Note3's construction is just a bit lighter than Galaxy J7 Max, although it is just a little bit thicker and was released 4 years before.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Max counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Note3. Both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 1920, a higher pixels amount per inch of screen and a same size display.
