Comparison review
The Galaxy Note3 has a global score of 77.7, which is slightly better than Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 overall score. Galaxy Note3 is an older phone than Galaxy S7 Active, but Samsung was able to build it a little lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Samsung Galaxy Note3 features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, although it has lesser RAM, they both have 4 cpu cores.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note3 features a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that admits 136 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features greater battery duration than Galaxy Note3, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3200mAh. The Galaxy Note3 captures clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a lot tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy Note3 also counts with a better resolution back facing camera.
