Comparison review
The Galaxy Note3 has a general score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's general score of 75.8. Although the Galaxy Note3 is much older and a bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's design is still a little lighter. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note3 has an older 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2160 resolution, a little bit greater screen density and a little bit bigger display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's processing unit is very similar to the Galaxy Note3 one, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has 3 GB more RAM memory and more cpu cores.
The Galaxy Note3 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy Note3 also has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a higher 13 megapixels resolution camera. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a slightly bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 128 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because it has a 25% larger battery capacity.
