The Galaxy Note4 is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 8, with a score of 77.6 against 77.4. Despite of the fact the Galaxy Note4 is older and a bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 8, it's construction is still a bit lighter. Galaxy Note4 counts with a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater display density.

The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy Note4, and although they both have an external memory slot that admits up to 128 GB, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 128 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 8 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Note4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 1 GB more RAM memory.

The Huawei Mate 8 features superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note4, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy Note4 takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video, and they both have a 16 MP resolution camera, the Galaxy Note4 also counts with a lot higher (4K) video quality.
