The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note4's 77.6 global score. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is extremely newer than the Samsung Galaxy Note4, it's a little thicker and a little bit heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note4, because it has a just a bit higher amount of pixels per display inch, a little larger display and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2960px.

The Galaxy Note8 has a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note4, because it has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB and more internal memory. The Galaxy Note8 has a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note4, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note4, because it has a 2% bigger battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note4 features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor providing a lower image quality and a much smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Note4 also counts with a lot higher 16 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
