Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active is slightly better than Galaxy Note4, with an 81.9 score against 77.6. The Galaxy S8 Active design is extremely newer than the Galaxy Note4's, although it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note4, because it has a bit larger display, a quite better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a little bit greater number of pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note4, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note4, because it has a SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Note4 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a lot tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light images and video and a tinier sensor which offers a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Note4 also counts with a much more megapixels camera.
The Galaxy S8 Active has better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note4, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3220mAh.
