Samsung Galaxy Note5 is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone 8, with a score of 80.2 against 79.5. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 construction is thinner and notably lighter than Asus ROG Phone 8, despite of the fact that it was released 9 years before. Galaxy Note5 counts with a lot better performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a better screen than Galaxy Note5, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bigger screen. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with much more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Note5, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 captures way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also has a lot higher 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a much higher photo and video quality and a lot higher video definition.
