Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a score of 80.2, which is just a bit better than HTC One M9's general score of 77.7. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 design is a little bit heavier but incredibly thinner than the HTC One M9, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. HTC One M9 features a little bit better performance than Galaxy Note5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an extra graphics co-processor.

HTC One M9 features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Note5, although it has a bit smaller screen, a quite worse display density and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080. HTC One M9 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photos or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the HTC One M9 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs and a more megapixels back-facing camera.

HTC One M9 features a little bit better storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Note5 has a little better battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 6 percent greater battery size.
