Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Note5's 80.2 general score. The Huawei P40 construction is incredibly newer than the Galaxy Note5's, although it is just a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier. Huawei P40 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has more RAM.
The Galaxy Note5 has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixel density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Huawei P40 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a F1.9 camera aperture, the Huawei P40 also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, higher video frame rate and a much more mega pixels back-facing camera.
Huawei P40 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has more internal memory. Huawei P40 counts with improved battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a 27% larger battery capacity.
