Galaxy Note5 is slightly better than Moto G7 Plus, with a general score of 80.2 against 76.1. Galaxy Note5 is an way older phone than the Moto G7 Plus, but it's a little bit lighter and a little thinner anyway. The Galaxy Note5 has a little faster CPU than Moto G7 Plus. Both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM memory.

Galaxy Note5 counts with a little sharper display than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better display density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. Motorola Moto G7 Plus captures a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have a same size sensor, the same 3840x2160 video definition, a back-facing camera with a 16 mega-pixels and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus also has a bigger diafragm aperture.

The Moto G7 Plus has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Moto G7 Plus also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. Moto G7 Plus and Galaxy Note5 count with similar batteries performance.
