The Galaxy Note5 has a score of 80.2, which is a bit better than Moto G8 Plus's 77.6 general score. Although Galaxy Note5 is way older than Moto G8 Plus, it's body is somewhat thinner and just a little lighter. Samsung Galaxy Note5 counts with a little sharper display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.

Motorola Moto G8 Plus counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Galaxy Note5 features a bit superior processing unit than Moto G8 Plus. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.

Motorola Moto G8 Plus takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has a bigger aperture to take better low light captures, a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a way larger sensor providing a much better image quality.
