Galaxy Note5 has a score of 80.2, which is a little bit better than Moto G9 Play's global score of 76.7. Even though Galaxy Note5 is much older than the Moto G9 Play, it's design is thinner and somewhat lighter. Galaxy Note5 features just a bit better processing power than Moto G9 Play. Both have a 4 GB RAM and 8 processing cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a brighter display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of display. Motorola Moto G9 Play captures better photos and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same video definition, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has higher 60 fps video frame rates, a back facing camera with a much better resolution, a much bigger back camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photos and a larger aperture for better photos and video in low light environments.

Moto G9 Play has much more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G9 Play also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB. Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
