Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note5's global score of 80.2. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an older and just a bit thicker phone than Galaxy Note5, but Samsung made it just a little bit lighter anyway. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a little bit better screen than Galaxy Note5, although it has a way worse amount of pixels per inch in the display and a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, they both have a display of the same size.

Galaxy Note 3 counts with a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note 3 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 64 GB. The Galaxy Note 3 has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Note5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and lesser processing cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor.

The Galaxy Note5 has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy Note5 also has a larger back camera sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures, a bigger aperture and a more mega-pixels camera in the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Note5, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
