Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note5, getting an 83 score against 80.2. The Galaxy Note8 design is way newer than Samsung Galaxy Note5's, although it's somewhat heavier and thicker. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a quite bigger display, a just a bit better pixel density and a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px.

The Galaxy Note8 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Note5 takes a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture and a tinier sensor, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy Note5 also counts with a way higher 16 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
