Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a little bit better performance than Galaxy XCover 5. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing photographs in low light situations, and they both have the same resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note5 also counts with a much higher video resolution.

Galaxy XCover 5 features much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1 TB.
