The Sony Xperia 1 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note5, having an 82.6 score against 80.2. Although the Sony Xperia 1 is a lot newer than the Samsung Galaxy Note5, it's just a little heavier and just a bit thicker. The Xperia 1 features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM.

The Xperia 1 has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a just a little higher pixel number in each inch in the screen, a higher 1644 x 3840px resolution and a quite larger display. Xperia 1 counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note5, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.

Sony Xperia 1 features a bit superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has an 11% greater battery capacity.
