Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is better than Samsung Galaxy Note7's overall score of 79.5. Even though the Huawei P40 Pro is a lot newer than Samsung Galaxy Note7, it is thicker and heavier. The Galaxy Note7 counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display and a bit higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Note7, because it has a greater number of cores (and faster) and 4 GB more RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much higher resolution back camera and better video frame rate.
The Galaxy Note7 features a little bit more storage for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro has better battery life than Galaxy Note7, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity against 3500mAh.
