Samsung Galaxy Note7 is just a bit better than Galaxy Alpha, having a 79.5 score against 76.3. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Samsung Galaxy Note7 construction is somewhat thicker and notably heavier than the Galaxy Alpha. Galaxy Alpha features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Galaxy Note7 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way higher pixels density, a way better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Note7 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note7 also has a lot bigger aperture to take better captures in poorly lited environments.
Galaxy Note7 has a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Note7 has a superior battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
