Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has an overall score of 81.9, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note7's 79.5 global score. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active design is newer, but somewhat heavier and way thicker than Samsung Galaxy Note7. Galaxy S8 Active has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Note7, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 2960, a quite better pixels density and a little bit bigger display.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's memory capacity to store more apps and games is just as good as Galaxy Note7's one, both have a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB and the same 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy S8 Active has a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Note7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a greater number of cores (and also faster).
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note7, although it has a tinier sensor providing a worse image quality, they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a same size diafragm aperture, a back camera with a 12 megapixels resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
Galaxy S8 Active features just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Note7, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
